I worked Monday, but took yesterday and today off to get some last minute cleaning and relaxation in. I have been walking everyday - but the little guy is still being stubborn! He doesn't want to come on his own so I guess we are headed to the hospital tonight at 7p. I will start oral medication tonight and then induction starts tomorrow morning! ! We will keep you posted!

Today is my due date!! It is exciting to know that something could start happening at any time now, but also kind of sad to know that pregnancy is almost over. I have had such a great pregnancy! But it is going to be so amazing seeing our little one - we are so excited!
I am still feeling good, but starting to notice I am getting more tired. I have been walking, exercising, cleaning, and still working, but none of that seems to cause many contractions. People give me all sorts of ideas for things to do to induce labor, but I guess I am not quite desperate enough to try them all! My boss told me I could start my maternity leave, but I suppose I might as well go to work on Monday if I haven't gone to the hospital yet. No need to sit around and anticipate when little guy will be here! He will soon enough though! Until then, I guess we will enjoy one more weekend of sleeping in:)

Wow it is week 40 already! I am due Friday! I just can't believe how fast the time has gone. I went to the Dr today for my last appt, but no changes since last week. The Dr decided to go ahead and schedule me for induction, just in case baby Ferrell doesn't come before then! So we are planning on next Wednesday to start induction. He said it would involve coming to the hospital in the evening, taking oral medication throughout the night to get me dilating, and then the next morning starting IV Pitocin to start contractions, and then break my water. Hopefully baby would come by Thursday afternoon! Maybe baby Ferrell is waiting because he knows we still haven't decided on a name;) We at least have it narrowed down to a few, guess we will wait to see him, and then decide!!
I am still feeling good, working, and doing the normal everyday stuff. I have had a great pregnancy, so I am hoping delivery will go just as good! I will keep you posted!

Only 9 more days until my due date!!! I have been going to the doctor weekly now to get checked. My last couple of appts I was not dilated, but I went yesterday and I am now dilated to a 1 and 70% effaced!! I guess things are finally progressing! I am still feeling good, and plan to work until baby comes. The swelling has actually gone down, but my hands still have some numbess. I cleaned the house one more time really good, and got some last minute things done this past weekend - so I think I am ready!! Unfortunately my doctor heads out of town tomorrow and won't be back until Monday, but he is pretty confident I will make it until he gets back. Guess little guy will come when he is ready!!!

Last Tuesday I had another appt. I am still not dilated, the dr. said "not even close":( Everything is ok though, so just waiting til lil' guy is ready! I am starting to be very ready though. My hands and feet have all of the sudden started swelling, and the numbness and tingling in my hands never eases up. That is very annoying - I can see why people have carpal tunnel surgery! Other than that, I feel pretty good. I still exercise about 3 times a week - which I think has made all the difference in the world. Jason finished building the organization system in the closet for the baby room. He did an awesome job! It was fun organizing all the things we recieved from the baby showers!!! I think we are pretty much ready. The car seat is in the car, and the bags are packed!!!

Last weekend we went to Pratt for another baby shower! It was so much fun! One of my friends from highschool and her mom and another friend put it on. There was a good turnout - a couple friends from high school were there, and then friends of my mom and mother-in-law. We recieved alot of really nice things, and alot of super cute outfits!! I can't believe how much stuff such a tiny baby needs!! We definitely came home with a car load!
