Beau has been fighting a cough this last week, and due to lack of sleep hasn't been the happiest camper. We were able to get some new medicine for him yesterday though, and I think he is finally getting caught up on sleep and is getting back to his happy little self! Yay!
Tonight in the bath, we dumped all his letters and numbers in with him and he was able to pick out B E A and U! He is also getting pretty good at colors, that is, if we are asking about his cars:)
Today was such a beautiful day! We got to play outside for quite awhile and Beau enjoyed playing with his dump truck he got from Nana & Papa for Christmas.
I can tell Beau is starting to develop a little bit of a sweet tooth. We don't give him dessert very often unless he eats a really good supper. And even then it is graham crackers or something similar. The other day though, I made a new sugar cookie recipe and used some new cookie cutters my mom got. They are a train, plane, and car. We have used them from everything to play dough to peanut butter sandwiches to cookies. So I baked a few cookies to try out the cutters and had them cooling on the cookie rack on the counter. Well the little stinker is so tall he can just reach on up there and grab one off. I was in the bathroom when he came and opened the door and with his innocent little eyes said "hiiii". I could tell he had something in his mouth, and sure enough I went back into the kitchen and 2 different cookies had bites out of them. But what can I say.....he is my son:)
Yesterday he started saying "oh my", too funny.

Beau recently got a Truck book from Mimi and loves it of course!

He has been saying "caaaarrrs" and "Tracteee" for quite some time now, and only about

100 times a day since that is all he wants to play with. The video below shows

him saying a new word he learned today. He picked up the types of trucks pretty quick!

Merry Christmas!! Ya I know, just a little late......:) We had such a fun Christmas this year! I mean, it is always fun, and great to go home and spend time with family, but little Beau just added such a spark! He had soooo much fun, and really enjoyed opening his presents and everyone elses too! Of course he wanted to "opeeeee" (open) every box and play with it as soon as the paper was off, so it made opening presents an all day event. He got alot of fun things, and has been busy playing with it all ever since!
He has been doing so good. Growing so fast and has such a great personality and is one happy little guy.  He talks more and more everyday it seems. He isn't making sentences yet, but he keeps adding more words. You can tell it is all coming together for him, and soon he will be talking our ear off! Enjoy the pictures!
